ICSYS’26 – We’re giving young researchers a chance to achieve more!!!

One of the key elements of ICSYS’26 is the opportunity for further development of the best papers presented at the conference.

Therefore, we are pleased to announce that “Technology and Automation of Assembly” (TiAM) is joining the group of journals to which selected best papers presented at ICSYS’26 may be submitted.

At the same time, it is with great pleasure that we welcome the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. hab. inż. Katarzyna Antosz, professor at the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology, to the ICSYS’26 Scientific Committee.

We are delighted that ICSYS’26 not only brings together young researchers and the academic community but also connects the conference with renowned scientific journals and provides opportunities for the further development of young participants.

This is an important step for us. We want ICSYS’26 to be not only a platform for presenting research results, but also a place where we can discuss how scientific knowledge translates into real-world solutions and industrial applications.

What can quantum computing bring to combinatorial optimization?

We are pleased to announce that Ph.D. Eng. Jarosław Rudy from Wrocław University of Science and Technology will deliver a plenary lecture at ICSYS’26:

“Quantum computing approaches to combinatorial optimization”

Quantum computing is opening new perspectives for tackling complex optimization problems. During his lecture, Dr. Rudy will explore approaches that connect quantum computing with one of the most hallenging areas of computational optimization.
With research interests including quantum computing, discrete optimization, operations research and scheduling, Dr. Rudy brings a perspective directly at the intersection of these fields.

A conference is not just about sessions, presentations, and academic discussions. After an intense day, it’s worth taking a moment to rest, recharge, and chat in a less formal setting.
During ICSYS’26, our host will be the Geovita S.A Center in Dąbki, which – as part of the conference package – provides participants with free access to a range of amenities:
